Delphinium - Making a start (Week 1)

05/11/13 So the lesson started at 16:15, but I was 30 minutes late. This does not sit well with me. As directed I went to to http://tinyurl.com/eteachlp1 and discovered the lesson plan on Linoit. It was pretty, I liked it (even though it was not linear in format), there were links to investigate, I was drawn in, the obvious plan had worked. Our teacher assured me that I should not feel fretful about the work I had missed, this was a poll tool called http://PollEv.com, but nonetheless I felt a little sad. I therefore found a moment to catch-up, I think our teacher expected me to do this. I made a short film on Dvolver, it was a start, here it is: http://www.dvolver.com/live/movies-915100 I liked using animals in it, but did not like the aliens on offer ^-^ There is no doubt students could be asked to use this to explain key concepts and also for recapping. People in the room had ideas about using the characters to bring a case study to life and also for putting two sides of a debate. I was impressed by my colleagues aposite ideas. Next I made a Linoit account. Our teacher provided a PAPER booklet to record our account details in, apparently we won't remember it all.
